as a wedding photographer, i’m a sucker for high school sweethearts. hannah and ben literally met in chemistry class (talk about fate!), and seeing them finally say “i do” after all those years was such a gift. their day was the perfect reflection of their relationship: free, relaxed, and deeply rooted in their love for one another and their people.

if you haven’t been to mojave east yet, you are missing out. as a photographer, i’m always looking for originality & light, and this venue is the total package. the open space with exposed rafters, polished concrete floors, and those extra-large windows create a modern, elegant canvas that feels more like arizona than ohio.
i absolutely loved meeting the owners and the whole team – they are some of the kindest people in the industry, and it makes such a difference when the vendor team just “gets” that we are all there to make the couple happy.

one of my favorite things about hannah and ben’s day was how much they prioritized peace. we kept the timeline super chill, which gave us the freedom to pop over to ault park for their portraits after the first look. it was the best “exhale” before the ceremony, just the two of them soaking in the moment.

we headed back to mojave east for an outdoor ceremony right as the sun began to dip. there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during their first look, and that emotional energy carried through to the sunset ceremony into the biggest celebration as they walked back down the aisle. seeing them surrounded by their lifelong friends and family was the best!!

the night ended in the best way possible: krispy kreme donuts. enough said
