there is something profoundly quiet and beautiful about a november morning in columbus. the city feels still, the light is soft, and for this particular saturday, it was the backdrop for a wedding day that felt like a long, warm exhale.
this wasn’t just a wedding; it was a day curated with a level of intention that is rare and incredibly moving. by stripping away the noise of a traditional timeline, this couple created a space where the only thing that mattered was the people they loved.

brunch weddings have a specific magic to them. the atmosphere is inherently relaxed, yet every detail of this morning felt deeply considered. from the way the light hit the table settings to the thoughtful choice of a morning celebration, it was clear that “beautiful” and “meaningful” were the guiding lights.
the vendor team was nothing short of incredible, working behind the scenes to ensure that the curated vision came to life seamlessly. when a team is this aligned, it allows the couple to simply be, knowing that every small touch is being handled with care.

we often talk about “intention” in the wedding industry, but seeing it in practice is different. it looks like a couple choosing a brunch celebration because they want to spend the rest of their day soaked in the company of their friends and family. it looks like skipping the performance and leaning into the presence.
by choosing to host their people in such an intimate, curated way, they reminded everyone there—myself included—that the most beautiful part of a wedding day isn’t the decor (though it was stunning), but the connection that happens when you make space for it.

after the couple got ready, we took to the streets. one of my favorite parts of this day was simply walking all over columbus with the new mr. and mrs.
there’s a different kind of energy in a city on a november afternoon. we wandered through german village, downtown & the statehouse. there was no rush, no frantic schedule to keep—just two people, deeply in love, exploring the city they call home.
capturing them in that soft, late-autumn light as they walked through the streets was the perfect end to a day that was always, at its core, about them and their story.
now booking 2027 weddings. if you’re planning a day rooted in intention and heart—whether it’s a brunch celebration or a walk through the city—i’d love to tell your story. head to the link in my bio to inquire about your date.
